Terms of use

1. The service

FinControl lets you record income, expenses, credit cards, budgets and goals, and see reports and answers about your own numbers. It is an organization tool: it does not move money, does not connect to your bank and does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older and provide true information.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.
• You are responsible for the information you enter; reports and answers depend on it.
• You may not use the service for illegal purposes, try to access other users' data, overload the system or copy the software.

3. Free plan

The free plan has no time limit. We may change its features, always giving notice of relevant changes.

4. Premium plan

• Premium is an optional subscription, charged monthly or yearly at the price shown on the Plans screen at the time of purchase, with automatic renewal.
• Payments are processed by an external payment provider. We do not store card details.
• You can cancel anytime in the app. Premium stays active until the end of the period already paid; there are no partial refunds for the remaining period, except as below.
• Right of withdrawal: under the Brazilian Consumer Code (art. 49), you may cancel within 7 days of the first purchase and receive a full refund.
• Price changes will be announced in advance and only apply from the next renewal.

5. Assistant and calculations

Assistant answers, forecasts and reports are automatic calculations based on the data you entered and may contain errors or omissions. Always check important information before making decisions.

6. Availability

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but there may be interruptions for maintenance, provider failures or reasons beyond our control. We recommend exporting your reports periodically.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on the app's information or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights guaranteed by the Brazilian Consumer Code.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice whenever possible.

9. Intellectual property

The software, brand and design of FinControl belong to their owner. Your data belongs to you.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; relevant changes will be announced in the app or by email.

11. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. Disputes will be settled in the courts of the consumer's place of residence. Contact: through the contact channel listed on the website.
